THERMAL SPRAY COATING

The thermal spray coating process is a process where molten materials (or heated) are sprayed onto a surface. The "charge" (coating precursor) is heated in electric mode (plasma or arc) or chemical (combustion flame).

The main uses of thermal spray are:

• Anti-corrosion coatings
• Restoring and improving the performance of surfaces related to wear and thermal stress
• Restoring and improving the performance of electrically conductive or insulating coatings

Commi is able to realize this type of machining by means of carry-metallic compounds of aluminum or its alloys (Al-Zn etc).
